Relationship Between Houses, Planets and Raashi

-Article By Shiva Kartikeyan
(a) If the landlord is his own tenant, his life is happy and comfortable. (b) If an intimate friend is occupying the friend’s house, life will be equally comfortable/a friend occupying a friend’s house in his own sign or friend’s sign: Ve -nus in Capricorn in house no 10. (c) If the rogue is the tenant, life will be miserable i.e. a wicked enemy’s sign occupying a weak enemy’s house e.g. Saturn in Aries in house no. 1 or Rahu in Sagittarius in house no 9. (d) landlord is rouge and the tenant, is weak and poor, life for the tenant is the most miserable. Jupiter in house no .10 and 10th sign Capricorn is landlord i.e. Saturn is destroying Jupiter (e) A weak Birth chart planet in his own house in enemy ‘s sign also suffers and destroys his own house This is how the interrelationship between the houses, planets and signs is to be interpreted. But do not forget to see the aspects-friendly ands adverse-Saturn in Aries in house no. 1 is malefic if Mars occupies houses no .10 in Capricorn .Saturn will no longer remain malefic . It is a case of two bitter enemies shaking hands to avoid confrontation. Another Explanation: Sun in house no.9 is, of course, exalted but, it is aspected by Rahu from house no3. It is eclipsed and destroyed. Notwithstanding family or adverse planetary aspects, the following points may also be remembered for exalted or good debilitating or weak planes: (1) Exalted (good and strong) planets
(a) Planet in his own and Raashi.(b) Planet in a friend’s house and own Raashi.(c) Planet in a friend’s house and friend’s Raashi. Results are mutually benefic.
(2) Partially good and partially weak:
(a) An exalted planet in a enemy’s house.(b) An exalted planet in a neutral planet’s house.(c) A planet in a neutral house and neutral Raashi.
(3) Debilitating /malefic planets:
(a) A debilitating planet in enemy’s house and enemy’s Raashi.(b) A malefic planet in its own house but in an enemy’s Raashi.Information regarding vacant houses: When there houses are vacant, they are deemed to be occupied by their respective Zodiac signs In the case of house no 6. Both Mercury and ketu are the lords and in the case of house no 12; both Jupiter and Rahu are the presiding lords. Hence, in both these case, following points may be remembered:(a) If Mercury occupies its sign i.e. house no 3 ,ketu will be the lord of vacant house no .6(b) If Jupiter occupies its other sign i.e. houses no 9. ,Rahu will be the lord of vacant house no .12
